Today I am heading to my local to pick up a 4 year old male Doberman. :heart: my favorite dog next to a German Shepherd.
Reason for it being at the shelter is because previous owners didn't want to put in the effort to properly maintain a Dobie, so yeah going to need to enroll in obedience classes and definitely going to be interesting on getting him mellowed down for the cats to tolerate them.

My cats are going to kill me in my sleep for this. :lmao:  anyway pictures to come.

I can definitely see where obedience classes will be needed- my aunt has a dog that is part Dobie (he's half black Lab, one fourth Dobie, one fourth Dalmation) and he still runs crazy...goes running around on hyperdrive speed and crashes into everything-ran right into the fence.  Actually, even before he mellowed out some, both of my aunts cats loved to play with him- they'd try to chase each other.  Depends on the cat I guess- but as long as you're dedicated to it you shouldn't have a problem.  Animals play off of whether the owner is dedicated or not.
